Pioneer clients 1 rep max table
This is a table of my clients 1 Rep Max's.
The lifts, in kilos, relate to 1 repetition of the exericse shown.
These lifts are usually completed after 3/4 weeks of a strength gain cycle (5x5 or 8x3), to test for improvements in strength.
They are a great indicator of improved strength, which will assist in the stability and completion of other exercises, as well as providing motivation to my clients to confirm that they are on the right track.
They also provide a different focus to training, where clients have something to work towards and a reason to work hard in the strength gain cycles.
They can also help to break up the strength and size gain cylces which again, will keep the clients motivated and ensure continuous results through a varied programme completed to the correct intensities.
Also, a bit of competition is always good for the soul!
